The Heartfelt Help Foundation provides financial aid to heart transplant recipients in Northern California to pay medically-required transplant-related expenses that are not covered by their insurance. 

We have a donor and people considering donation only support group on Facebook that is growing larger almost daily. Share your concerns and experiences. Ask questions of those who have been there!

We embarked on the “Driving for Life” journey in 2022, and in 2023, we expanded our reach, traveling over seven thousand miles across the nation, amplifying the voices of children in need of a kidney transplant, and raising awareness about the critical importance of organ donation. 

We are committed to connecting with youth nationwide, engaging in conversations, and dispelling harmful myths surrounding organ donation. Our aim is clear: to foster understanding, provide accurate information, and ultimately create a society where organ donation is seen as the fairest and most equitable system.

We provide emergency housing, transportation, food, and emotional support programming to cardiac surgery and transplant patients and their families.

AVA’S HEART is a unique nonprofit charity dedicated to providing financial assistance for organ transplant patients who cannot afford necessary treatment and care. Founded by heart transplant recipient Ava Kaufman, we provide pre-transplant and post-transplant patients a wide variety of basic essentials not covered by insurance. 

Is to provide education, support and resources for transplant families and also to promote organ and tissue donor awareness. 

Kindness for Kidneys is an international, voluntary nonprofit health organization dedicated to raising awareness and public health education of kidney disease. Our mission is to educate, encourage, and empower kidney warriors and their families.

The YNOTT? Foundation has provided support to thousands of pediatric transplant patients nationwide. We’ve hosted and/or participated in hundreds of health awareness events, been featured in numerous media spotlights, and received a number of awards and honors for our services in the community.

Take the Next Step Be the Next One, in conjunction Kidney Donor Athletes promotes the gift of life through living kidney donation among active individuals and athletes by building a community that inspires, supports, and educates people about the experience of kidney donation.

The Lung Transplant Foundation (LTF) was founded as a non-profit organization by a group of lung transplant recipients from Durham and Chapel Hill, NC. Since 2009, we have raised funds and advocated for lung transplant research. We also provide education and emotional support for transplant recipients and their caregivers through our Mentorship Program.

TRIO, Transplant Recipients International Organization, is an independent, not-for-profit, international organization committed to improving the quality of life for; Transplant candidates, Transplant recipients, Families of transplant candidates and recipients, Families of organ and tissue donors.

Following the passing of his brother Russ, Doug  sought to turn a tragic event into something positive and beneficial in Russ' name.  He worked with family and friends of Russ to form Hearts for Russ in 2014.  Doug is excited about the direction and mission of the organization and the impact it is having on peoples lives. 

Waitlist Zero is focusing on completing four projects: 

• The End Kidney Deaths Act with the Coalition to Modify NOTA

• Honor Our Living Donors (HOLD) Act

• The Colorado State Cares Act 

• The New York State Living Donor Support Action

Transplant First Academy’s (TFAs) mission is to educate and inspire kidney disease patients (who could benefit from a transplant) to proactively seek a preemptive kidney transplant before they require dialysis. 

DOVE’s goal is to find, educate, screen and support prospective living donors and then match those donors to a Veteran awaiting transplant.

Kidney Donor Conversations is a 501c3 nonprofit that provides education and support for living kidney donation. More kidney donors are waiting to donate than people on the transplant waiting list and everyone has one healthy kidney.

We at NKDO educate prospective living kidney donors to donate as safely and effectively as possible.

We are devoted to helping end the kidney crisis in this country.

The mission of Educating Minorities About Transplants, Incorporated (EMAT) is to educate and spread awareness to minorities about the importance of transplants. We promote organ, eye and tissue donation and provide supportive service to all people within the transplant community. 

Kidney Solutions is facilitated by transplant professionals, recipients and living donors who desire to assist our members and their families who are looking for, or wanting to donate a kidney through the pre- and post transplant process.

It is Heart Brothers Foundation sole mission to bring resources together to help Heart Failure patients and their loved ones survive life with Heart Failure and all its challenges.

Kidney Donor Athletes promotes the gift of life through living kidney donation among active individuals and athletes by building a community that inspires, supports, and educates people about the experience of kidney donation.

Transplant Trekkers is a program of the John Brockington Foundation. Our goal is to spread the word about organ donation by engaging friends and families—and their networks—to join us on virtual treks. We are donors, recipients, and professionals, as well as runners, walkers, bikers, and gardeners. All those activities and more count as miles toward our virtual destinations.
